How many guests can Cocodimama accommodate?

We welcome guests of all ages, all walks of life, from all over the world. Our Eleuthera boutique beach resort offers maximum comfort for up to 35 guests. Within three cottages, our villa-style hotel has 12 rooms – each with its own private en suite bathroom, balcony/deck, AC unit, and ocean views. Three of these are “doubles,” containing both king and queen beds. Additionally, there is a two-bedroom apartment available above the clubhouse, bringing the total number of rooms to 14.

Event sizes at Cocodimama vary from intimate gatherings to big, blow-out bashes. Our main lodge dining room can easily seat 40+, with additional seating on the dining patio overlooking the beach. Tables and chairs can also be set up right on the beach. We generally recommend no more than 200 guests, but if  you have questions about whether we can accommodate a larger event, please contact us online.

What kinds of events can be hosted at Cocodimama?

Cocodimama is a dream destination for all different types of celebrations, ceremonies, and group getaways. Beloved by Bahamians and international visitors alike, it’s the ideal place for a picture-perfect island wedding – and 35 of your guests can stay at the hotel. We’ve also welcomed yoga retreats and wellness trips, family reunions, milestone birthday/anniversary celebrations, corporate retreats, chill bachelor/bachelorette parties, spiritual retreats, group family vacations, and more.

What on-site services are available?

At Cocodimama, we strive to provide the very best in customer service to each and every guest. Our beachfront hotel and clubhouse are staffed daily with housekeeping and management.

Upon request and for additional fees, we can provide:

Cooking and catering services.
Cooks can be hired to utilize our fully-equipped commercial kitchen to cook up anything you like. We can also grill outdoors for a beach barbeque or plate up sumptuous charcuterie for beachside picnics. Meals can be buffet style, full service, or a combination of both throughout your stay. Many guests find it much simpler, more convenient, and cost effective to hire kitchen staff to take care of food and beverage service onsite – at least for part of the time or certain meals – rather than handle it on their own.

Bartending and serving.
We do have a full bar in the clubhouse, and it can be staffed with bartenders and servers and stocked with all your favorite spirits.

DJ, band, karaoke.
The rhythm of the waves is always part of the soundtrack at Cocodimama – but live music energizes the party.

Excursion guidance.

We’ll connect you with the best third-party providers of epic island adventures. Charter a boat to go deep sea fishing, swim wild pigs and sea turtles. There’s also snorkeling, caving, cliff-jumping, horseback riding, windsurfing, or island-hopping to nearby destinations like Spanish Wells or Harbour Island.

What are the amenities at Cocodimama?

As a boutique beach resort in Eleuthera, we strive to provide guests with every comfort and amenity they’ll need to make their stay magical. That’s why every room at Cocodimama has its own en suite bathroom, AC, and private balcony/deck with unobstructed ocean views.

Additionally, we offer:

Daily onsite housekeeping. Our beachfront villas are immaculately clean. Our staff is typically there from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. They’re unobtrusive, and will ensure the bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas are spotless and fresh.

Tasteful decor. Beach chic throughout.

Luxurious bed linens. We always want to ensure the ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Main lodge for indoor, air-conditioned gathering, with restrooms and seating for up to 40 people. Attached to an expansive deck overlooking the water – great for lounging or dining. There’s also a bar area and large, flat-screen television.

Full commercial kitchen. For those just hoping to fix a small something, there’s a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, cookware, dishes & utensils.

Outdoor grill. Great for kebabs, burgers, and brats.

Free high speed internet. Stay connected.

Stereo system. Set the tenor of the festivities with your favorite tunes. (With no nearby neighbors, you can crank it up to high volume.)

Laundry facilities.

Sand volleyball court.

Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels.

Worry-free swimming. A large sand bar stretches for hundreds of yards from the shores of our resort. That means children and adults who aren’t strong swimmers won’t be more than shin-deep unless they make an effort to head farther out. You’re also highly unlikely to encounter any larger marine animals at such shallow depths; any creatures that are nearby (starfish, sand dollars, sea urchins, small fish, etc.) are easily spotted in the crystal clear waters.

Convenient location. Just one mile away from Governor’s Harbour Airport (GHB), Cocodimama is only a short trip to the center of Governor’s Harbour, the main town on the island. You’ll find cute mom-and-pop shops, well-stocked grocery stores, and great restaurants. (There are also tons of takeout options if you prefer to bring your food back to the resort.)
